Image capture problem using DM355

I tested DM355 IPIPE block using MT9T001 CMOS Sensor.

The following information is relevant parameters.

. CMOS Frame Rate : about 30 fps

           . CMOS output : 1024 * 768 ( convert 2048*1536 format to it by 2x bining)

           . CCDC Input format: 1024 * 768

. IPIPE Output : VGA (640*480) ; by IPIPE resizer

But..  because VD(10 pixel), HD(8 pixel), Black looks in the left side and bottom of the below captured image.

What is the problem ?

  • what application are you using to capture the video, resize and display it?

One thought based on how our DM355 demos work is that due to the pixel clock available on the EVM (limited by hardware part chosen), our demos will often placed resized image within a larger frame and have black portions around them.  For example, if you chose COMPOSITE output with a 640x480 output frame size, you may get a 640x480 frame withing a larger 740x480 frame with black bands around it.

What do you mean by VD and HD pixel lengths (vertical distance, and horizontal distance...)?  Perhaps this has something to do with it also, but I am not sure what you mean by this.
