DM6467 VPIF output

Hello,

Is DM6467 VPIF module capable to output some odd resolution (for example 250x150) with embedded EAV/SAV?

Similarly is VPIF module able to capture such odd resolution with embedded EAV/SAV? I have FPGA which generates such resolution as video source.

If yes, Is there any specific configuration of VPIF module I have to keep in mind while capture/display such resolution other than EAV2SAV, SAV2EAV and L1 to L11 settings?

    Hi Bhavin,

     

    I havenot really tried with the small resolutions, but as far as i know, VPIF is capable of capturing small resolution.  You will need to correctly configures SAV2EAV, EAV2SAV and L1 to L11 in VPIF registers. VPIF provides an error interrupt, which will fired if the received frame size is not matching with the configured frame size. You could use this to debug if it does not work.
