Dear Community,

i already found a thread in the forum concerning this topic for the AM335x:

In the reference manual for the AM437x, the following control module registers are shown:

CTRL_BANDGAP Register

CTRL_BANDGAP_TRIM Register

According to the register description Bit 15-8 (DTEMP Field) contains "temperature data from ADC", but there ist no information about the use of this feature.

From the TI application team i have got the information, that this register is available, but not documented and it was recommended to post this question to the forum.

Can anyone tell something about the status for the AM437x concerning this feature and if it is possible to use and how?

    Ralph, this feature was never productized as because its accuracy could not be guaranteed. Most likely the temp sensor is not even being trimmed, so the feature is not available.
