Hi...

Is it feasible to use TI's C553x for image and video processing?

I want to display an image or video on to wearable display. If I can use the above DSP? If not what is the cheap alternative available from TI which is also compatible with MSP430G2553?

Hi Trupti,

TMS320C55x DSPs can perform image processing. Furthermore, there is an optimized general-purpose image processing library for C55x. You can find it at:
http://www.ti.com/tool/sprc101
There are also User Guide and related documents available via this site.

If I will be using TMS320C5535 for my application then for DMD2000 (Micromirror display) do I need to use DLPC2607?

Yes, you need of display controller like DLPC2607.

Sir, on this link sprc101[image library], is not available for download.
