66AK2G12: 66AK2G12

Part Number: 66AK2G12

16 boot mode pins of 66AK2G12 device "BOOTMODE [15:0]" . as for boot selection 4 pins are used i.e." BOOTMODE[3:0] "

Please suggest minimum number of pins required for just one boot configuration of QSPI. of 66Ak2G12 device.
Because I have a limitation with number of pins on microcontroller.

THANKS

  • Hi,

In general you need to connect all boot pins in order to have a stable voltage level to specify the proper boot mode. If your idea is to leave some of the bootmode pins unconnected, this is NOT recommended.

See Section 2.4 Boot Modes from the Schematic Checklist: www.ti.com/.../sprac54a.pdf

You have some flexibility provided using BOOTMODE [4] -> MIN, See the TRM, Section 4.3.2 BOOTMODE Pins Description.

    Best Regards,
