Hello team,
Hope you are well. When you get a chance can you share some feedback on below customer question:
We are interfacing an AM3352 processor module to a TDA19988 HDMI framer to do some basic display functionality. We are encountering an issue with the drive strength of the AM3352 driver putting out about 5V peak to peak into the framer and this is causing a lot of overshoot and noise and hurting performance depending on resolution and pixel clock rate. So far the problem mainly seems to be in the framer handling the clocks as the ringing of the data is causing a great deal of noise on the clock lines. We have the chipset configured exactly as a beagle bone black but we have added a 402 resistor inline with each clock signal. Also our chipset is on a module and connects to the main board via a sodim socket so that adds a good bit of trace length to the system. I have matched the traces to 10mils on the base board. Have you had any experience with this type of issue from this chipset and if so what is a possible solution? I can get it working solid at a given configuration by manipulating resistors and capacitors but then it is only good for a close area around that same resolution.
