Do you have detailed TSIP spec, customer is consider to implement in FPGA for communication with C6678.

We have checked below, but it's not enough. thanks!

There are also the Processor SDK RTOS driver and its documentation:
software-dl.ti.com/.../index_device_drv.html
And Section 7.18 TSIP Peripheral in the Datasheet.

Other than that the pdf that you share (Telecom Serial Interface Port User Guide) is the document that describes in details the functionality of this interface.

Hi Yordan，
We need use a FPGA to communicate with DSP Through TSIP Interface, So we need to know the Link Layer Protocol of TSIP Communication, we cannot realize the program in FPGA without it.

Hi,

The TSIP is a serial interface peripheral that connects directly to TEMUX devices with timeslot data management and an integrated DMA capability. Direct interface to H-MVIP devices such as TEMUX, ST BUS devices, TSI devices and H.110 compatible devices.

If your FPGA complies with the interface, you can use C66x TSIP interface for this purpose. What do you mean "Link Layer Protocol of TSIP"? There is some discussion e2e.ti.com/.../909583 here.

The FPGA witch we are using have not the complied interface, we want to design it, So we want to find how to design it.The Protocol inTSIP must be got.

Sorry we don't have additional document for TSIP, the only one is TSIP user guide the www.ti.com/.../sprugy4.pdf. If your FPGA doesn't meet the TEMUX interface, do you have others like EMIF, SRIO, PCIE, etc that can be connected to C6678?

Xie Li,

There is no 'protocol' for using TSIP. it is optimized for transporting TDM voice data based on an 8KHz frame rate. The required timing information is in the C6678 Data Manual and the TSIP User Guide that you referenced has the needed clocking diagrams.

What application are you trying to achieve?
