DM355 CCS connection issue

Hi

I have customized board which uses DM355 chip. While I am trying to connect it to CCS using XDS510USB - JTEG , it is giving following error.

Error : 0x80000240/-140

Error generated by SD Scan controller module.

I have verified Emulator, cable, GEL file with DM355 EVM test board, all are proper.  While testing SD Config utility with xds510 USB with my board, I got following results.

1) Verify Connection test : passed

2) Emulator Reset : Failed

3) Emulator Test : Failed. Giving following Error

"  >> Check power to your emulator/eZdsp  >> Then check your port mode/address"

I have verified that emulator is getting 3.3 V voltage. Is there any other signal missing ? Any clue about the solution why DM355 is not able to connect to CCS ?

    Hi Gunjan,

    Go to your command prompt and run the command in the appropriate folder which contains your emulator drivers.

    dbgjtag (Use dbgjtag --help for more options )

    This will give more details about the error.
