is it possible i can confirm which device is used, ex: 66AK2H06, and processor, ex:TMS329C6670, from debugger?

    The JTAGID Register described in the datasheets for the 66AK2H06 and TMS320C6670 can be read in the debugger to tell the difference between a 66AK2H06 or TMS320C6670, and includes some fields for the device revision.

    For both these devices the JTAGID register is at address 0x02620018.

    [Albeit the 66AK2H14 / 66AK2H12 / 66AK2H06 have the same JTAGID for a given revision]
