TMS320C6678 , 1、EMIF bus connects to the FPGA and NANdflash, whether it can simultaneously store the data of Nanflash in real time and operate the sequence of the FPGA?

2、Whether there are evaluation boards that can connect the TMS320C6678  EMIF bus to Nanflash and FPGA simultaneously, Nandflash is used as large data storage？

    Hi,

    1. Yes, For the C6678, a total of 256M bytes of any of these EMIF memories can be accessed at any given time via four chip selects with 64M byte access per chip select. NOR Flash can be used for boot purposes. These memories can also be used for Data Logging purposes. FPGA is can also be used.

    2. For the board, you can try the 6678 EVM,
    The TMS20C6678 EMIF‐16 interface connects to one 512Mbit (64MB) NAND flash device
    and 80‐pin expansion header (TEST_PH1) on the TMDSEVM6678L EVM. The EMIF16 module
    provides an interface between DSP and asynchronous external memories such as NAND and
    NOR flash. For more information, see the External Memory Interface (EMIF16) for KeyStone
    Devices User Guide (literature number SPRUGZ3).
    NUMONYX NAND512R3A2d NAND flash (64MB) is used on the EMIF‐16.

    You can use the 80‐pin expansion header for FPGA.
