TMS320DM365 maximum screen resolution on standard monitor

What is the largest screen resolution possible on the TMS320DM365? i have seen somewhere that 1080 is equivalent to a 1440x1080 screen

    If you mean the analog outputs on the DM365 they are not capible of driving a typical PC monitor, and their highest output resolution would be 1080i, that is 1920x1080 interlaced (this is due to the 16:9 aspect ratio of HDTV, a 4:3 aspect ratio would be 1440x1080).

    Digital output resolutions can be larger however they are limited by the 75MHz max video clock, so how high of a resolution you can obtain depends on how low of a frame rate your display is willing to accept. The maximum HVALID and VVALID values are both 8192 however it is not typically practical to display such a large image as it would be very slow.
