AM5708: compatibility with C64x EMAC

I have an application running on the C6424 DSP that uses the on board EMAC. It is a specialised Ethernet stack and some audio processing. I am looking for an SOC with Arm and DSP that is compatible with multiple Ethernet interfaces . Can I access the 1G Ethernet EMAC on the AM5708 form the onboard C66 DSP ? If so where can I find the register map for the EMAC or GMAC ? If not can you recommend an alternative ?

Hi,

Yes you can access the GMAC on the AM5708 from the DSP. That is a simple answer though that I feel I need to point out that the OS on running on the ARM will need to be modified to release the GMAC and not interact with it so the DSP can own the interface. The link below is the TRM and chapter 2 describes the system memory map.
