Linux/AM5728: DFU not working

We are trying to program customized am5728 board emmc using dfu and usbboot. We connected usb1 port on the board to host laptop . We loaded MLO using usbboot utility in host laptop but finding no output on the target console.Kindly help .

Also,how to make sure if USB1 is in device or host mode for the booting procedure.

we are using linux sdk 03.02 with uboot 2016.05.

Marka,

By default U-boot configures AM57x USB1 port to be in host mode, and USB2 to be in device mode.
To use DFU on USB1 port, U-Boot has to be patched to change the configuration. Please try with the two patches in the link below.

Please note that uboot 2016.05 is old and no longer supported on this forum. If the patches above don't solve the issue for you. Please update to new uboot in Processor SDK Linux v5.3.
