AM5728: Can AM57x support 1ch D1 camera with 120fps?

Could AM57x satisfies?

Hi Gilbert,

Highest performing AM57x Machine Learning device can handle roughly 120 GOPs/sec. You can map this to the OPS that your deep learning algorithm need per sec. Performance number for some of the models are benchmarked and can be found here -

Thanks for the DL information.

From the TRM document we are not sure if AM57x can handle the D1 camera input with 120fps. Please help confirm if we can

use the D1/120fps data for the DL application.

Hi Gilbert,

The VIP port (parallel port for camera capture) on AM57x can be clocked at max speed of 165 MHz. With that speed, you should be able to capture D1 camera at 120fps.
