AM4376: ADC Simultaneous Trigger Options

Hi Team,

I have a customer looking to configure the ADC channels on the AM4376 to take simultaneous reads using ADC0 and ADC1 where ADC1 would trigger ADC0.

He has a couple questions:

1) Is it possible to trigger the ADCs from the PWM module and get simultaneous reads?

2) Why can’t I configure the ext-hw-trigger using the PinMux when the tech reference indicates it should be available?

    Hi,

    1. No, available trigger sources are shown in Figure 11-1, resp. Figure 12-1 in the AM437x TRM Rev. H.
    2. The PMT tool shows you have a pin conflict on EXT_HW_TRIGGER. This signal is available either on pin AC25 or D24. Check that you have one of these pins free from other functions.
