Hello Rafael ,

We observed that in CCSv8 XDS510USB Debug probe is not populated under connection.


In CCS general setup under "Data Snapshot Viewer" connection only we can able to see "TMS320C6711".

As mentioned that XDS510 USB Debug probe support TMS320C6711, please do needful to make XDS510 USB Debug probe appear in Connection slot.

    Gourav,

    CCSv8 supports XDS510 with C6711.  CCSv9 on the other hand does not.  Can you let me know the exact version of CCSv8 that you are using (8.0.0, 8.1.0...8.3.1)

    Note that with CCSv8 you will need to make sure that you installed support for Spectrum Digital or Blackhawk debug probes.  If you have selected these during installation then you will be able to select those XDS510 class probes with C6711 in CCSv8.

    For example this screen capture is from CCSv8.3.0.

    If you do not select a device do you see the XDS510 items in the connection list?

    If you are not seeing them then it is most likely that support for these probes was not selected during installation.  You can run the CCS installer again and point it to your existing install.  It will then give you the opportunity to update your installation.
