DRA725: Navigation issue with CarPlay for Deasy 187B Stereo Model

Hi ,

I have Desay 187B Stereo model in my Car and it has navigation issue, most of time navigation arrow doesn't follow me. It start well but after some it loses direction.

In this design "DRA725LGABCRQ1" is used, which is infotainment processor. Any clue how to fix this ?

Also, for sometime navigation doesn't detect my movement as well. Looks like CAN speed info is not read by stereo. I'm using iPhone X for Carplay.

Hi Pankaj,

Is this a board you are working with? or an after market system you bought?
If it is an after market system, please contact the OEM of the system for support/issues.

Hi Vishal,

I bought aftermarket and there is not much support from OEM. They have replaced unit once. But still navigation issue. So, I'm asking support from TI.
Let me now if you need more details to debug this issue.

Ok, Can you answer my few questions for device DRA725.

1. Is it required to Ground Body of this chip ?
2. Is it required to put heat Zink ?
