Hi All,

I am using AM335X processor with linux kernal 4.4.16 version.

Problem I am facing:
Not able to play video on tilcdc

Things I tried:
I found somewhere on Google that, to render a video on screen I will need to start XServer, I have cross compiled all the necessary libraries to start X Server, and still not able to see the video on screen.
Can someone please guide me on what other libraries or binaries I will need to play video on LCD?

LCD drivers are loaded, I am able to run QT applications on screen and able to display an Image on screen, but not able to render the video.
Can someone help me with these?

Hello,

I can not allocate processor sdk with kernel 4.4.16.
What is the software that you are using here? Is there gstreamer in it?
Is it PSDK, if yes what is the version?

If you are trying to run it via qt I would recommend you to check here:

Thanks for respond,
By the way, I am already compiled GStreamer and FFmpeg both and I already run XServer on my system. but still not get any result.
For QT, I am using QT 4 version for my system. and through FFmpeg, it has given some version issue so, Now I am using GStreamer.

I am sorry but I can not understand what is the software release that you are using here.
Is it psdk or debian or else?

Hi,

We are using beaglebone black release, Linux Kernel is 4.4.16.
And we have cross compiled GStreamer, ffmpeg and opencv to display the video on screen, but we are not able to see the video on LCD attached with am335x processor.
Can you please help us on the same? :/

Hello,

I am sorry but in this forum we are supporting TI software releases.
However, if you are using gstreamer I would recommend you to use pipeline with playbin element. For X video sink the gstreamer element is ximagesink.
