Linux/AM3358: Address when writing NAND

I find that when writing somthing to nand flash of AM335X in u-boot, it is always from the address 0x82000000. But I only know that EMIF0 SDRAM address is 0x80000000. So what does the address 0x82000000 from?

Hi Yan,

0x82000000 address also belongs to EMIF0 addr space.

EMIF0 SDRAM - from 0x80000000 to 0xBFFFFFFF (1GByte)

Hi Botev,

So is it okey if I write things to 0x80000000? Or there's some important data from 0x80000000 to 0x81FFFFFF while the u-boot is running.

You can also write to 0x80000000 ddr addr. You can explore u-boot memory map with bdinfo, check below user guide:

In below wiki, 3 ddr address are used for writing images: 0x80000000, 0x81000000 and 0x82000000
