TMS320C5535: ADC details

does this dsp has ADC (somewhere it is mentioned that this dsp has ADC but somewhere its not )? if yes , what are the deails?

please provide some sample code to start work on this DSP?

Hi Atul Kumar,

TMS320C5535 has a 10-Bit 4-Input Successive Approximation (SAR) ADC as it is describe in datasheet:
www.ti.com/.../tms320c5535.pdf
I would like to note that TMS320C5535 is the only DSP of TMS320C553x family which has ADC as it you can see in table 3-1.
And mode detailed description about ADC can be found in section 4.2.11.

kindly suggest how to acquire analog signal from a waveform generator. can u give me reference of sample code?

I suggest you to take a look at "SAR functional layer API header file" csl_sar.h and csl_sar.c file which are part of TMS320C55x Chip Support Libraries (CSL):
http://www.ti.com/tool/sprc133
You can find in CSL some SAR ADC example projects verify the SAR functionality in DMA, Polling and interrupt mode.:
