DM365 IPNC NAND writer utility problems

We are using the DM365 IPNC and need to reload UBL and u-boot. We tried using a prebuilt binary of the NAND Write utility (NANDWriter_DM36x and Appro's version nandwriter_ipnc_dm36x_0.2.0), but with both we get a popup saying:

Code Composer could not locate: boot.asm

I couldn't find the file, so I ignored it then another window opened up saying:

Code Composer could not locate: trgmsg.c

I ignored that one too, but then nothing happened.

Any help is appreciated.

I had the same issue last week; it was solved by re-installing CCS 3.3 + Service Release 12 (final CCS version 3.3.82.13) and the latest CCS 3.3 JTAG drivers from SD sit (I am using XDS510USB).: http://support.spectrumdigital.com/ccs33/

Ok, good to know. We are using a slightly older version of CCS 3.3, which may explain the problem. We got around the problem by rebuilding the NAND write utility. The code provided by Appro had the source. Your solution sounds better though.

I actually changed laptops, so I had to re-install my CCS software anyways, but that solved the issue for me. Hopefully anyone else that runs into this can just update to the latest service release 12 and be done with.
