Hello John,
you can look in PDK package for DCAN examples. In pdk_am437x_1_0_13 there is a loopback example located in
.../packages/ti/starterware/examples/dcan/loopback. Please check if you can use it as a start point.

Thanks for pointing me in this direction. I think I could use that. Only thing is, I have PDK version xxxx_14 and CCS 9. The supplied scripts don't work (paths not found). Is it possible to generate a working example project for CCS 9 for me? Otherwise, I need to debug the script. I'm using the evmAM437x. Is it possible to change the scripts, so they can be used for CCS9? I tried to change the CCS version in the script, but it seems it needs more changes than that.

Hello,
it will be more effort to rework the project to newer CCS version than to use tested ones. In case you plan to use RTOS here is a list of tools that should work and is tested on other projects
CCS 7.0
SYS/BIOS 6.73.1.01
XDCtools 3.50.8.24_core
am437x PDK 1_0_13
SDK RTOS 5.02

Also CCS8.2 should work with pdk_am437x_1_0_14 without modifications.

Hello,
unfortunately we do not have such list for versions compatibility online but this info should be contained in either CCS or SDK release notes.
