TDA2P-ABZ: UART output blocks ISSCAPTURE link

Hi Experts,

Is there any possibility that UART output blocks ISSCAPTURE link? If so, please let me know the reason.

My customer is using ISSCAPTURE. He is seeing following phenomenum.
Semihosting (debugger console) output : ISSCAPTURE link works correctly.
UART output : ISSCAPTURE link stops.

The same core is used for UART output and ISSCAPTURE.

Hi Ken,

Is he running using CCS or sd boot.
Is the ISS capture stop from very begining or after some frame.
Can you share the UART Log?

He is running using CCS.

The ISS capture stops from the begging. No frame can be gotten.

> Can you share the UART Log?
I will send you the log files directly. My customer doesn't want to upload the files to the public E2E.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response, was busy in VSDK 3.07 release.

If you want to off semihosting then can you try Vps_printf instead of printf .

Hi Anuj,

Thank you for your response. Currently they are using Vps_printf() when semihosting is off. Also they are using printf() when semihosting is on.

The phenomenon is ISSCAPTURE works fine when semihosting is on but it does not work when semihosting is off (Vps_printf() is used).

Is there anything that they can try?

Hi Ken,

So when Vps_printf is used with semihosting on, Capture is going on?

Are you getting the log of Vps_printf on UART console.
