TMS320C6654: POR

Part Number: TMS320C6654

Hello,

Just to verify:

I'd like to follow the power up sequence and wave form shown in figure 6-2 of the datasheet. After power up, is it okay to assert POR any time (Provided we follow the sequence). This will happen when there is a warm reset to the board by a user and C6654 is controlled by a host processor so I just want to make sure it is okay to follow the same sequence. The warm reset I am referring to is a reset in our PCB due to a push button, or software reset to the host processor which restarts and re initializes the DSP. Note, on a warm reset the supplies won't be taken down and the clocks won't be reset. Just POR and resetfull will assert to ''0' and then '1' in the sequence mentioned in figure 6-2. This means will fill follow time 5, 7, 9, 10 shown in the waveforms.

And also: CORESEL0, CORESEL1, LRESETn, LRESETNMIEN will be at logic 1 once POR is asserted to '1'

Is that okay?

Thanks,

Divakar
