If you are a bare-metal developer then you don`t need that for your application development but the Processor SDK RTOS is designed both for RTOS and bare-metal developers. The common thread that binds the software drivers to OS or baremetal is the OS Abstraction layer. We provide a no-OS and a RTOS version so the software drivers and higher level stacks can work in both environments.
