We have two ethernet ports with LAN8710A PHYs (Configured as MII Mode) which are connected to the CPSW Switch mode. We are facing Ethernet issue in the CPSW Switch mode. The Problem with "swinging" ethernet link (Down and UP) on both the ports. But there are some working secnario observed in this, Please find the below details,
1. Frist Scenario
Connect both the ports with ethernet cable (One port is connected to PC and Another port is connected to office network).
Power on the board.
Board is booted with the OS and we are getting continuous link up and down in both the ports.
Now swap both the cable (ie, Interchange)
Then the link is stable and we are able to browse the net from the PC (Through the board Switch)
2. Second Scenario
Connect one port alone with the office network.
Power on the board
Board is booted with the OS and Port 0 is initialized and gets stable after one reset.
Open the browser and try to browse the website, we are getting the web content on the browser and suddenly the link goes to unstable state (Down and UP)
I think, this is due to the heavy traffice on the link.
We need your support on why the ethernet link are going (DOWN and UP) on both the ports and why the link are not stable. Do we need to see any specific register setting in this.
