We do not support ethernet AVB stack as part of the Linux SDK offering.

For typical Use cases, the ethernet AVB stack is supported by our 3P ecosystem (including running the stack from RTOS environment from M4 or A15 cores)

The linux side implementation mainly supports the time synchronization feature using CPTS module (for PTP)

Are you looking at implementation for AVB talker vs listener vs an AVB switch

1. Not very clear about the following ->
We need to implement the AVB Talker and AVB listener as of now. Switch we will do later.
So if only AVB talker and listener needs to be implemnted , do we need the CPSW driver also. Or only cpts will do.

2. What are the DTS changes required for the ctps.ko to be loaded on boot and will it pop up a /dev/ptp when it loads?

3. Can we get access to " ethernet AVB stack is supported by our 3P ecosystem "? We are currently trying to bring up the OpenAvnu stack

Is there any existing AvNU stack available with CPTS integrated?
If not, what changes do we need to make in the stack for integrating with CPTS?

From Linux we have not integrated with AVB stack before and there are no plans to do so.

Hence dont have much insight into the OpenAVNU stack integration.

CPSW driver -> Is there a design doc/ user manual  on this? Basically I want to understand how to use.

                          Is it a RAW ethernet driver?

                          I don't need the switch functionality. What should the dts look like?

                          Any user page / examples on using it for DRA7x?

From the AVB point of view, just wanted to confirm if the support for the following is available in the cspw/ cpts driver and the switch IP on DRA7x.

• IEEE 802.1BA:^[4] Audio Video Bridging (AVB) Systems;
• IEEE 802.1AS: Timing and Synchronization for Time-Sensitive Applications (gPTP);
• IEEE 802.1Qat: Stream Reservation Protocol (SRP); and
• IEEE 802.1Qav: Forwarding and Queuing for Time-Sensitive Streams (FQTSS).

802.1AS is supported on Linux.

But on the cpsw hardware (DRA76P), are the 802.1Qat, 802.1Qav supported?
