Linux/AM5728: GUI support

Is there a way to run the graphical gnuradio-companion application on the AM5728? I've built the x11 branch according to this thread, https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/p/693288/2555021#2555021, but it disables Wayland so there's no desktop.

Ok, that thread ended with "We do not support X11 in Processors SDK. No more questions on this topic will be entertained. Thanks!". So are you telling me there is no support to run gnuradio-companion with the SDK?

Hello John,

Please, add the meta-sdr layer to your OE build system, build the gnuradio application and check whether it works.

Hi Kemal,

I was unfortunately unable to successfully integrate the x11 framework into the SDK. Our solution was to build a version of Debian based off of the Beagleboard x-15 which has provided us the functionality we need for our GUI interface.
