Does Processor SDK Linux supports CPU sleep function?

How much is the power when it is in sleep until it wakes up by an interruption?

Hello Sugawara-san,

At this point in time, we do not support power management options on AM65x in Linux. So cpufreg is not supported, and sleep modes are not supported. That is true for the current Linux SDK 5.3. It is also true for the next SDK coming out in a month.

In a future release, we will add support for selecting the OPPs at boot time (ARM core speeds 800 MHz, 1GHz and 1.1 GHz). Support for selecting the OPPs will not be added in the next SDK. However, I hope to see support for selecting the OPPs in a later SDK in 2019.

We are still characterizing the power performance of AM65x. I do not have any information about current consumption that I can post at this point in time.
