Hi,

While operating DCAN in test mode internal Loopback test is working fine but External loopback does not.

Even probed Tx pin on Oscilloscope in both cases, where I was able to see data transmission in case of internal loopback but nothing in case of external loopback.

I've found below mentioned archived thread where this issue was queried exactly but no solution was given,

As I'm able to configure and use DCAN for internal Loopback test, please let me know if I need to configure it any

differently for External loopback test apart from changing TEST register bit, TRM section 23.4.6.

I suppose you have already installed SDK for this processor from

www.ti.com/.../PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X

You can check

pdk_am335x_1_0_13/packages/ti/csl/example/dcan/dcanLoopback

for reference. This is for RTOS/bare metal from package
