can anyone share uart communication in am335x sitara starter kit

if possible please share steps and ref code for the same.

what modification required in DTS file and DTSI file ........................?

i have already visited above link but problem is i think there is no directly hardware port available in AM335x sitara kit for UART communication. if i want to use all the uart available in kit.

Raju,

Only port J3 (USB0 MicroAB, UART0) is available for UART communication.

You are right Mr Pavel Botev but its already used in serial communication in minicom.

Raju,

You will need HW modification to use other UART ports. There is no SW ref code available.

TMDSSK3358 has only UART0 available, and this UART module is connected to FT2232HL chip, which is used for the USB0 to UART0 and JTAG conversion applications. If you need UART0 for other usecase (not Console serial communication), you will need HW modification.
