Hello,

I have the TMDSICE3359 board and I want to implement HSR example functionnality on it.

I have find in this documentation (page 11 and 12) that I can make that with an HSR example that we can find on the SYSBIOS SDK.

So I was able to download the SYSBIOS IND SDK 02.01.02.03 before you deleted it from your site. And I don’t know if the HSR example that is provided to me in it is still usable?

Moreover, the new SYSBIOS IND SDK is the Processor SDK RTOS as I undersand. But I don't know how I can implement an HSR example with this on my board.

To conclude, can you please explain me what is the easiest of the two solutions presented above to implement the HSR example functionnality on my TMDSICE3359? And what is the step at follow to make that?

Hi Florian,

Yes, SYSBIOS IND SDK 02.01.02.03 is obsolete and no longer supported. You can download the latest PRU-ICSS industrial SW which supports HSR/PRP from here - www.ti.com/.../PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW
And you can follow the use guide software-dl.ti.com/.../PRU_ICSS_HSR_PRP.html to build and run the example in the software package.

Thanks for the clarification.

Another question, in the section "PRU-ICSS-HSR-PRP-DAN Product downloads" there is a link to download "PRU-ICSS HSR-PRP-DAN pre-built binaries" (in blue on this screenshot).

Can you please explain me the function of this and what I have to do with? Is it mandatory to make the HSR example of the PRU-ICSS industrial SW work?

Florian,

The pre-built binaries are the ones for flashing into SD card (with second boot loader), so you can try it out quickly without even building the project/example. It's built from the example of the PRU-ICSS industrial SW.

So, what is the second boot loader? where can I find it?

Do you have a datasheet which explain me how can I use the prebuilt application?
