AM5728: Question for AES

Hi,

In the original thread, I confirmed below features are supported by Sitara.

AES ECB mode 128/192/256 bits
AES CBC mode 128/192/256 bits

Customer is asking if AES GCM mode is also supported by Sitara or K2G.
Could you confirm?

Yes, AES GCM mode is supported in crypto HW on AM57xx SoC.

Thanks for your reply.
I thought the crypt HW is supported by Linux SDK by OpenSSL, so AES GCM also use by OpenSSL, correct?
How about RTOS ? It seems no OpenSSL in SDK RTOS.

Hi Koichiro,

Yes, there's crypto driver in AM57xx Linux SDK, and it can be used by upper layer, ie, openssl.

Unfortunately, HW crypto driver support is currently not available in AM57xx RTOS SDK.
