H264 I frame compression algorithm and jpeg picture

Hi,

I am new to the H264 I frame compression algorithm and jpeg picture compression algorithm. Are they compatible? In other words, if I have a H264 I frame and save it, just changing the file header, can it be viewed by standard picture view software?

I do not believe this is possible; h.264 has I, B, and P frames. With B and P frames, this is certainly impossible, but I doubt this is even possible with I frames as H.264 and JPEG are different compression standards.
