Am just trying to use Vision SDK for object recognition. Should it work without having the EVM kit or whether I can emulate the EVM kit.

Hi,

You need to have at least 1 support platform mentioned in released notes to run VSDK.

There are some individual package which comes as a part of VSDK which can be run on PC but for that you need to check the release notes or other related docs for that package/component.(OpenVx is an example of such package which can be ran on PC environment).

Hi,

No, It does not have GUI.

You have to control everything over UART console.
