Part Number: AM5726
Hi everyone,
When I implement Ethercat Master and Slave with AM5726, can I communicate with jumbo frames respectively?
If communication is possible with jumbo frames, what is the byte size of the frame?
Best regards,
Sasaki

Sasaki-san, just want to confirm, you are communicating two AM5726, one running as a master and one as slave. Is this correct? On the other hand, let me check with our developers if there is any limitation with Jumbo frames.
thank you,
Paula
Hi Paula-san,
Thank you for your support.

Yes this is correct.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Sasaki-san, I confirmed that from both Master (EC-Master) and slave (PRU-ICSS EtherCAT slave) that jumbo frames are not supported. So, due that EtherCAT standard doesn't support jumbo frames at all, the maximum frame size is 1518 bytes, and any frame bigger than that would be treated as an error frame.
thank you,
Paula
