Linux/TDA2PXEVM: A-15 compiler:Other GCC ARM tool support

Hi,

I am working on A-15 core. So, out of curiosity want to know about GCC ARM tools.

1) Is there any other GCC ARM tools (compiler & linker )for A-15 which is been supported on TDA boards except the mentioned one i.e (https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/+milestone/4.9-2015-q3-update)?

2) If not, then what's the reason?

Hi Surbhi,

TI does not have its own compiler for ARM A15 core. Hence TI uses the GCC compiler from Linaro.

Please note that GCC compiler has two versions: one for Windows and other for Linux.

Hi Rishabh,

I know about the two versions. But is there any other compilers are supported by TI like IAR for arm on board.

Hi Surbhi,

For ARM A15, TI supports only GCC.
