TDA3XEVM: What ISS Image Pipe changes are required for monochrome format?

Part Number: TDA3XEVM

Our image sensor is Vanadium Oxide(VOx) Resistive Microbolometers Infrared Thermal Detectors Focal Plane Array(FPA).
Our application is night vision.  It's a hunting application.  Our product is RifleScope.
FPA output is 14-bit, raw, 640 x 480, monochrome, High Dynamic Range(HDR), it's not companded.  It's continuously calibrated to retain HDR, uniformity.
TI Application Report SPRACA8 - August 2017, ISS Image Pipe for Alternate CFA Formats documents changes required in ISP for monochrome format.
>>  3.1.1   DPC, H3A, NSF3
Treat 12b monochrome input as 12-bit Bayer
Is '12b'  12 bits?    Is 12-bit input to NSF3V block?  What is output of this block?  Is rest of image pipe bypassed?
Are GLBCE and NSF3V blocks mutually exclusive?
