Can the IPC function, MessageQ_alloc(), be called in HWI context in TI-RTOS?

    Hello,

    No, MessageQ_alloc() cannot be called within a HWI context due to it's blocking nature. Generally speaking, blocking calls cannot be made from a HWI context since HWIs (and SWIs) need to run to completion without blocking. If a blocking call is made within a HWI, you'll get the following assert error:

    assertion failure: A_badContext: bad calling context
