DM355 out-of-the-box encodedecode demo capture problems

Hi,

I am new this forum, but have been working with DM355 for a while. After sucessfully compilng DM355 linux core and demo applications I found annoying capture tearing from PAL camera. This capture tearing is also visible with NTSC camera.

Maybe someone has encountered same problem and knows a quick solution? I havent changed demo code a bit, so it should be some config error?

Best Regards

I include a screenshot from the TVOUT of DM355 board

Update...

After turning off VerticalSync I get the same tearing, so I guess, something wrong with it, or maybe - its the COMPOSITE video output problem from TVOUT?

  • Hmm, am I being kindly ignored?

  • I havent seen this issue before, is this something that is happening constantly or something that just happens for a moment from time to time? It definately looks like an issue on the capture end since the OSD is still locked properly in place, I suppose it could be an issue with the cameras you are using, it may be worth trying another source but I am not sure the problem is really with the camera as I have not seen this sort of artifact from a lousy video signal before.

What version of the DVSDK do you have the demo running from? Is there any unusual output on the serial terminal?
