Hi,
See user guide: http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/docs/latest/rtos/index_board.html#emac-test
Connect the Ethernet loopback cables to the EMAC Ethernet port (RJ-45) on the board. Check below table for the details of EMAC Ethernet ports used by the test on different platforms.
| HW Platform | Ethernet Port |
|---|---|
| iceK2G | J10 |
| am65xx_evm | J12 on CP board |
| am65xx_idk | J12 on CP board |
Regards, Eric
Hi Paul,
I'm assuming that the starting point is the Processor SDK RTOS 5.03 release and that you are using the prebuilt images to run the diagnostic test. Please confirm.
After that please refer to the link: http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/docs/latest/rtos/index_board.html#emac-test for the Test accessories.
Are you connecting the Loopback cable to the J12 port?
I just validated this at my end and it works and the test indicates that it is passing. I would recommend that you check the cable.
Regards
Karthik
Hi Karthik,
Yes I'm using 5.03, prebuilt images and j12 port. The icssgEmac test seems to work fine so the cable is ok.
