DM365 internal voice codec and RTC

Has anyone got working driver code for the internal voice codec on the DM365 (CONFIG_SND_SOC_CQ0093VC)? The code shipped in beta LSP 02_10_00_11 seems to be a work in progress. I've tried fiddling with it a bit, but I'd rather not do this myself if someone has more recent code available.

I havn't had a chance to look at it in detail, but the DM365 RTC driver (CONFIG_RTC_DRV_DAVINCI_DM365) seems to be unreliable too. Perhaps this is why it wasn't in the defconfig for the DM365-EVM.

  • The DM365 software that is out there is still beta, so I would expect it to improve over time as it is being actively developed, for better or worse what you have today is probably the best that is available, I would suggest keeping an eye on the EVM updates site for new releases as they are made available.

  • Support for both internal voice codec and RTC is available in the DM365 LSP GA release (LSP 02_10_00_14).  The release has been distributed internally for integration into the DVSDK 2.10 GA candidate and should be available on the sds download site within the next few days.

  • Hi Gary,

I measured voltage on TP18 at the Spectrum digital DM365 EVM Ver.C.
The voltage is abnormal, I get 2.8V on TP18 when I plugged in the power adapter. But VDD12_PRTCSS is normal 1.167V.
When the PRTCSS is powered with backup Lithium-Battery, I didn't measure 1.2V and 1.8V on TP19 and TP18.

You said that internal RTC is available in the DM365 LSP 02_10_00_14 release.
I tried it on the EVM, but  it didn't work out.

Thanks in advance for any info you can offer.
