Linux: AM335x DDR data preservation over warm reset

I follow this steps except not use reset button, but write 1 to PRM_RSTCTRL to do the warm reset.

But after the reset, interrupt the uboot, still found that the DDR data lost.

I don't know how to make sure that DDR is in the self-refresh before the reset, when using PRM_RSTCTRL to do the warm reset.

Thanks. I have already read the complete thread. Because it was not mentioned how to make sure that DDR is in the self-refresh before the reset, when using PRM_RSTCTRL to do the warm reset. So I have this question. I'm wondering if someone has done this test and if so, what's the result.

Hi,

I already explained above, that this is not an use case that's been tested and verified by TI, and we do not support it.

Thanks Biser. But in table 8-25, "DRAM contents preserve" is Y with "SW Warm Reset" . Write 1 to PRM_RSTCTRL is also warm reset.
