Linux/AM3358: DCAN errors on start

Hi,

we're investigating issue on can where after boot when we set:

/sbin/ip link set can0 type can bitrate 500000; /sbin/ip link set can0 up and have reception

we see 13 spikes (error flags). We basically test with CANalyzer to send always data to can interface and during boot kernel just set pinmux for CAN and then we set above commands and we see the issue like this:

TJA1052IT is tranciever used in our board. Any ideas how to get rid of that? We're expecting those are error flags produced by can driver. Thanks.

Yes but I was able to workaround it to start interface with listen-only on then change to liste-only off and errors gone away. Any idea what is causing that? I think can receive something on different speed like we do in configuration and thus reply with errors. Thanks.

Hi,

Could you please post the results of these commands? I am assuming DCAN interface 0

ip -d -s link show can0

cat /proc/net/can/stats

Where is the scope capture begin taken? Between the SOC and the transceiver or on the line after the transceiver?
