Tool/software: TI-RTOS
Hello,
I've the TMDSICE3359 and I want to implement HSR protocol on it.
To do that, I've download :
- PRU ICSS SW for HSR/PRP v01.00.04.02
- Processor SDK TI RTOS v4.03.00.05
- CCS 7.4.0.00015
I have also target my board and import the HSR project (that I've find in the PRU ICSS SW for HSR/PRP).
Now I have to search the gel file "TMDXICE3359.gel" like it is written page 16 of this PDF :
However I can't find this file. I've only this :
Is it normal? What gel file I've to use?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Florian
Hi Florian,
The TMDXICE3359.gel file is located in ccs_base\emulation\boards\ice_am3359\gel\.
When you create target configuration and select 'ICE_AM3359' as Board or Device, the gel file will be auto linked as initialization script.

Garrett
Hello Garrett,
I'm sorry, there is an error in my previous message. I search the file "TMDXICE3359_v2_1A.gel" like it is written page 16 of the PDF of my previous message. I've to remove the "TMDXICE3359.gel" and to load "TMDXICE3359_v2_1A.gel" but I can't find it.
So, where can I find the TMDXICE3359_v2_1A.gel.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Florian
Florian,
The application note is out of date and the SDK referred in the document is no longer supported, please refer to
for HSR/PRP evaluation. There is no TMDXICE3359_v2_1A.gel required for the test.

Garrett
Hello Garrett,
If it is out of date, why is it always proposing on your site as if it were current ?
It is really unfortunate that the documentation is not updated and delete when it is no longer current...
Hi Florian,
We have planed to update these documents to align with the latest software packages. Due to the amount of documents and resources, some of them like this are delayed. And we keep the document on ti.com since some information in the documents are still useful.
Hopefully you are able to move forward now.
Regards,
Garrett
