Hi,

ARM document says Cortex-M4 has Vector Table Offset Register(VTOR).

But I didn't find the description of VTOR in datasheet and TRM.

Could you please tell me which document describe about VTOR?

Especially, I would like to know the address of VTOR.

Masashi,

Elements that are inside the ARM core will be documented only in the ARM documentation. This is not repeated in the TI TRM.

I have more question.

Could you please tell me how to set VTOR when user would like to move the vector table from 0x0000 0000 to 0x8010 0000?

The description of VTOR in "Cortex-M4 Devices Generic User Guide" says bi[29] should be set 1 if it is in SRAM memory region.

It seems user can set the address 0x2000 0000, 0xA0000 0000 if bi[29] = 1.

And,

If offset is 0x10 0000, user should set bit[28:7] =

0 1000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0

0 0000 0001 0000 0000 0000 0.

Which user should set?

This is another internal ARM question. Unless you find something like this in our ProcSDK sample code, you will need to pursue this through ARM support.
