Hello,

Customer wants to use Camera module which output is 5-bit LVDS from LMH0341 for AM5728 Camera input as below block diagram.

Can AM5728 get 5-bit LVDS from LMH0341?

Can customer use above block diagram?

Hi,

No, AM5728 does not have LVDS video inputs. You will need to use an external circuit that converts LVDS to parallel signal.

Customer is considering to use Xilinx instead of LMH0341 as below block diagram. (See red box)

Can AM5728 get SDI interface from Xilinx?

No, AM57x devices do not have SDI video inputs.
