DM357 Audio Codec support

The DM357 looks like a very good match for a project I'm working on except for one thing, the lack of an audio codec.

Most of the DM357's siblings have an audio codec bundle available for them.  Why is the bundle not available for the DM357?

I've the impression that the audio codec is implemented as software running on the ARM926EJ-S core, which is common across the device family.  So, I'm wondering if the codec bundle isn't available for the DM357 due to a technical limitation (such as the DM357's smaller SRAM), or perhaps to a licensing/distribution limitation, or maybe something else?

<Edit> Oop!  I've just received a response from a T.I. representative stating that the codec bundle isn't available due to lack of requests.

That is pretty much the way it is, if there is a large amount of interest in it that it may be possible to put together but currently the demand has not been there to do so. I do mean to imply that the hardware is certainly capible of running the codecs, it is primarily a matter of porting everything and dealing with licensing and such.
