OMAP-L138: /sys/class/pwm is empty

Hi all,

I've change menuconfig to enable EHRPWM, the source codes is being compiled as well, but when I load into OMAPL138 evk, directory /sys/class/pwm is empty

What else do I need to change?

FYI: using linux 4.6

Hi,

Enabling just the driver itself is not enough. Did you add the PWM entries in your dts file?

I've gone through some online posts/comments, then I added this in .dts also

&ehrpwm0 {
status = "okay";
};

Hi Yordan,

I finally found out why, I've added the entry in DTS but I didn't remake the dtb

This morning I tried to rebuild the .dtb and pack into the zImage now I able to see pwmchip under /sys/class/pwm and I also able to export it
