Hello user4233381,
The bash version in the latest Processor SDK is 4.4.18. If you want to install a newer version, you will need to download these bash 5.0 recipes and compile them in the OE build system. You can find how the bash versioning goes here. Bash 5.0 is the highest possible version you can currently have. You can find the OE build procedure described here. You can find an example how to build and install a ffmpeg package on your board here. You need to do the similar steps to compile the bash. Keep in mind that you will need to change the tool-chain version and the processor-sdk-xx.xx.xx.xx-config.txt config file depending on that which ProcessorSDK version you use.
Best regards,
Kemal
Hello Kemal,
Thank you for your help.
Now I have bash_5.0-r0-arago0_cortexa15hf-vfp-neon.ipk,The following error was prompted when I used opkg to install it .
Not selecting bash 5.0-r0 as installing it would break existing dependencies.
Package bash (3.2.48-r11.arago0.15) installed in root is up to date.
How can I solve this problem in an easy way?
That is good news to hear. Can you click on "This resolved my issue" button and mark the thread as resolved? Thanks.
